1 person dies in motorhome fire in Surrey

One person has died in a motorhome fire in Surrey this morning.

The fire department was called to the 800-block of 160 Street at 7:30 a.m. and found a motorhome that was fully engulfed. Neighbours had called 9-1-1 after seeing smoke and being unable to get inside.

When firefighters extinguished the fire, they found one person dead inside the motorhome. The identity of the person has not yet been confirmed, but at this point foul play is not suspected.

Surrey RCMP General Investigation Unit, Surrey Fire Department Fire Investigator, and the Coroner are still on scene investigating.
