The pair can be seen exchanging multiple punches and, at one point, wrestling each other on the ground. A security guard eventually stepped in to separate them as a huge crowd looked on.

Another Twitter user armed with a camera, Taylor Stewart, captured onlookers running from the chaos while a woman could be heard asking, “Why are we running?”

Both men have yet to be identified and it remains unclear what sparked the scuffle.

The National Retail Federation estimates that about 135.8 million consumers will be shopping this weekend, compared with 133.7 million last year. The trade group expected about 30 million to be shopping on Thanksgiving, compared with 99.7 million on Black Friday.

The group also expects a 3.7 per cent increase in sales this year to $630.5 billion for the season.
