A cargo ship that broke down off B.C.’s north coast Tuesday morning has now restarted its engine.
According to the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre, the MV North Star was 45 nautical miles offshore of Haida Gwaii with a full crew on board.

The 255-metre cargo ship had been drifting parallel to the shoreline for hours.
The coast guard says there are no dangerous goods aboard the North Star.
A tug boat and the Coast Guard were dispatched to help the ship.
