2 men facing numerous charges after Kelowna drug bust

KELOWNA — Two Kelowna men are facing numerous charges after a drug bust last Wednesday.

Police seized methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, weapons, stolen identification and $2500 cash in a residence in the 1200 block of Clifton Road.

“A 29-year-old man from Kelowna faces charges of Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited Firearm and Possession of Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking,” said Cpl. Joe Duncan in a media release. “A 34-year-old man from Kelowna also faces Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited Firearm and Possession of Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking as well as a potential of numerous other charges.”

Five people were initailly arrested during the raid but three have since been released without charges.
