Three youths are now in custody following a stabbing in Delta that left an 18-year-old in critical condition.
Just after 11 p.m. on Saturday, police were called to a report of an altercation behind Burnsview Secondary School in the 7600-block of 112 Street. When they arrived they found a 18-year-old man suffering from “significant” multiple stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital in critical condition where he remains.
The three suspects, all under the age of 18, were trying to flee the area when they were arrested by police. They cannot be named, but will remain in custody and are facing charges of aggravated assault.
Investigators say they are confident there is no connection between the fight and the school.
The victim and the suspects do know each other and police say this appears to be the case of a fight between teenagers that escalated to an extreme level.
