Quebec mosque linked to controversial Muslim leader vandalized

MONTREAL – Police are investigating after someone reportedly vandalized a mosque run by controversial Muslim leader Adil Charkaoui.

The act of vandalism, shattering the windows of the Centre Islamique de l’Est de Montréal, happened just hours after terrorists massacred 129 people in Paris.

Canada has tried for years to deport Charkaoui, claiming he was an Al-Qaida sleeper agent, but a judge overturned the order in 2009.
