WEST KELOWNA–Tuesday’s windstorm battered boats in West Kelowna.
About ten boats were damaged at the West Colonial Club.
A number of docks at the club are also heavily damaged.

The Cove resort, next to the West Kelowna Yacht Club, is also reporting damaged docks, some of them even ripping away from their moorings and floating out into the lake.
At least one sailbot at the yacht club was ripped from its dock and floated several kilometres north.
Officials at the yacht club estimate the damage could be as high as $500,000.
Just last year, the yacht club invested more than $50,000 in dock work.
