WATCH: Stray cats take on world stage at G20

A trio of curious felines stormed the stage on Sunday, as the world watched in anticipation of world leaders gathering in Antalya for the G20 summit in Turkey.

A live feed of the reception stage in Turkey captured three stray cats wander around and sniff the flowers before taking off.

Turkey is known for having many stray cats, even prompting the Wall Street Journal to suggest Istanbul be called “Catstantinople.”

During a 2009 trip to Turkey, U.S. President Barack Obama was photographed petting a stray cat named Gli inside the famed Hagia Sophia.
