The future is here!

An incredible video released this week by JetPack Aviation shows Australian entrepreneur David Mayman fly around the Statue of Liberty using a jetpack.

The company claims that they have developed the world’s first “true” jetpack because it is powered by a jet engine and is light enough to be worn like a backpack.

Mayman took the JB-9 for its maiden flight last Tuesday and made a splash by flying it around the iconic monument.

Mayman’s bio says building a jetpack has been a lifelong dream. JetPack Aviation claims they have been developing their product for over 40 years.

According to the company, the JB-9 pack is capable of vertical takeoff and landing and can stay airborne for up to 10 minutes at a speed of over 160 km per hour.
