Police investigate after three fires started in LaSalle duplex

LASALLE – Police are investigating after a fire broke out in a duplex on Edouard Street, near 7th Avenue in LaSalle.

The fire started at 2:15 a.m. on the second floor.

“Firefighters were able to see there were three fires that were started in the duplex,” said Jean-Pierre Brabant with Montreal police.

No one was injured, but the investigation has been turned over to the Montreal police arson squad.
