PARRY SOUND, Ont. – Two people are dead following the crash of a small plane on Monday evening near Parry Sound, Ont.
Ontario Provincial Police say they were notified about the crash at about 7:30 p.m. after a motorist on Highway 400 saw the plane go down and called 911.

The OPP says the plane carried two people and both died at the scene.
Their identities have not yet been confirmed.
The OPP says officers will remain at the site until Transport Canada officials arrive to investigate the crash.
