GrouponLive – a joint venture between team-buy company Groupon and Live Nation – launched G-Pass on Wednesday.

The new feature lets users bypass the box office window and head straight to their seats on event day.
Before G-Pass, GrouponLive customers would purchase event vouchers online and would then exchange them for actual tickets at venue will-call offices.
A single G-Pass voucher now contains all the ticketing, seating and barcode information needed, so customers can skip all the lines and head straight to their seats.
G-Pass launched in beta in October 2011 and is now being rolled out across Canada and the U.S. to all Ticketmaster venues offering GrouponLive deals.
