Most people wouldn’t dream about flying in a jet-winged suit, let alone beside the largest passenger jet in the world while wearing one. But not these guys.
The winged duo Jetman Dubai took to the skies over Dubai to perform another stunt: flying beside an Emirates Airbus A380.
Of course, the pair — Yves Rossy and Vince Reffet — made it look easy, but careful planning and choreography went into ensuring the safety of the pair as well as those on the plane (and surrounding planes filming the feat).
While this isn’t the first time Rossy and Reffet have taken to the skies over Dubai, it is the first time they’ve flown beside an A380.
The A380 is a double-deck plane, capable of seating 544 people, with a range of 15,200 km.
Emirates operates 33 A380s, the most of any airline. No Canadian airline operates an A380.
