MAGRATH — A report of a suspicious person wearing camouflage with a cloth covering his face caused some concern at Magrath elementary school.
At about 3:20 p.m. RCMP received a call that someone was seen looking through the school’s windows. A nearby community police officer was able to quickly apprehend the suspect and detained him until RCMP arrived.

No firearms were seen in the incident, although police found the 14-year-old boy was carrying two concealed knives.
Police say the youth showed no threatening behaviour and was cooperative throughout.
He was released to a parent with conditions to not be in possession of any weapons and to stay off of Westwind School Division property.
Charges are pending in relation to the two concealed knives.
