Saskatoon police capture escapee from Saskatchewan Penitentiary

SASKATOOON – An inmate who escaped from the Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert didn’t stay on the loose for long. Jesse Grant McMullen, 20, was discovered missing Sunday evening during a head count.

Just before noon Monday, he was captured by Saskatoon police.

McMullen is serving a three-year sentence for a string of robberies last spring in Saskatoon.
