MONTREAL – The ferry strike is officially over.
Union employees with Quebec Ferry Services accepted their employer’s offer Sunday night, with 80 per cent of workers voting in favour.

Regular service resumed at midnight and will be fully operational for commuters Monday morning.
The news comes as a relief for many who rely on ferry services to go to-and-from work.
Mayors of municipalities directly affected by the strike said they were also pleased to hear the news.
