Kelowna celebrates new seniors’ housing project

KELOWNA–Ceremonial ground was broken on a new seniors’ housing complex in Kelowna on Friday.

It marks the start of construction for the second phase of Apple Valley, a new five-storey building providing 78 rental apartments to seniors, people with disabilities and low income families.

Residents will be able to access the Ziglar Recreation and Senior Support Centre, which includes a lounge and library, billiards and shuffleboard, and a six-lane bowling alley.
