And just like that, Zuckerberg pledged to kill off game notifications that have been annoying users for years.

“I saw this top-voted question on my thread and sent a message to the person in charge of the developer platform to get rid of this issue. There are some tools that are outdated which let people send people invites,” Zuckerberg said.

“We hadn’t prioritized shutting it down, but we are doing it now.”

While the promise will apply to all gaming requests (we’re looking at you, Farmville players), Candy Crush was the only game specifically mentioned by users in the Q&A thread. The user who posted the comment even asked Zuckerberg to delete the game altogether.
