HALIFAX – A man was sprayed in the face with sensory irritant on Monday after confronting a group of youths he witnessed acting suspiciously.
The man saw the youths at around 2:30 p.m. in the 0-100 block of Woodlawn Road in Dartmouth.
The youths were standing in a pathway and the 55-year-old man witnessed them throw an item toward a nearby home and then run away.
A short while later, the youths returned to the area, and the man approached the group who then sprayed him in the face with sensory irritant and ran away.
The youths fled in the direction of Farquharson Street.
The man was treated on the scene by EHS.
The youths are described as three black males between the ages of 15-17 years old. One is described as having curly hair.
