WINNIPEG – If you’re planning to work on your yard, don’t be surprised if you’re leaves are picked up later than expected.
The city says it’s running behind on its yard waste collection because of the large amount of waste being out out.

Crews are working late trying to complete last week’s pick up in parts of St. Charles, Fort Garry, Fort Richmond and St. Vital.
The city still said you should put your garbage out on collection day and don’t bring it in until it’s picked up.
