An Ashland, MA woman found a cat stuck in the engine of her car after going for a coffee run Wednesday morning.
Crista McKinnon was at a local McDonald’s grabbing coffee when she heard something come from the hood of her vehicle.
McKinnon asked the McDonald’s employee if they heard the sound too. After inspecting the vehicle McKinnon found a black and white cat in the hood of her car.
Ashland Animal Control centre was called to help remove the feline. A worker with animal control said she was shocked the cat was uninjured in the event.
“It was just so wedged in there. I don’t even know how it got in there” said animal control officer Dona Walsh to NECN News.

In fact, the cat was so stuck they had to call firefighters as backup to help remove the animal.
The cat is believed to be a house pet because it’s healthy and groomed. Ashland Animal Control are now looking for the owners.
