At least another week is needed to complete the 2015 Saskatchewan harvest. According to the weekly crop report, 97 per cent of the crop is in the bin, up from 91 per cent a week ago.
The five-year average for this time of year is 98 per cent.
Officials with Saskatchewan Agriculture said mild and relatively dry weather allowed most producers to complete their harvest, but some will need a week or more to finish up combining of flax, canary seed and oat crops.
The furthest along is the southeast at 99 per cent, with the west-central region reporting 93 per cent is combined.

Topsoil moisture is reported as 88 per cent adequate, with six per cent surplus and six per cent short. Hay land and pasture topsoil is rated 85 per cent adequate, two per cent surplus, 12 per cent short and one per cent very short.
