Three people were taken to hospital Sunday after fire broke out in a building in Winnipeg’s northwest corner.
Emergency crews were called to a unit in an industrial complex on Brookside Boulevard, near Lucas Avenue around 8:15 p.m. Sunday.

The roof had to be taken down for crews to get to the flames. One of the three taken to hospital has since been released.
Damage to the building is initially being estimated at $150,000. The cause is not suspicious, said fire officials.
