Prince Albert police seek armed robbery suspect

Police have released surveillance images in an attempt to identify a suspect involved in an armed robbery Tuesday in Prince Albert, Sask. At 5:05 a.m. CT, officers were called to a store in the 2700-block of 2nd Avenue West.

Staff told police the male suspect entered the business, brandished a firearm and demanded cash and cigarettes. The clerk complied with demands before the suspect fled.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as having a slim build and between five-foot six and five-foot eight. At the time, he was wearing a light-coloured hooded jacket, a white and black bandana, dark pants and sunglasses.
