Conservative Peter Kent retains Thornhill seat

Conservative MP Peter Kent comfortably retained his seat in the riding of Thornhill.

Kent took the riding by a wide margin over second-place Liberal Nancy Coldham, and NDP Lorne Cherry placing a distant third.

It’s the third win for the former newsman who first took the riding in 2008 and won again in 2011 with over 60 per cent of the vote.
