Kirsty Duncan has held the riding of Etobicoke North for the Liberals.

Early results show Duncan winning a decisive victory over Conservative Toyin Dada and NDP hopeful Faisal Hassan.

The result comes as no great surprise as the riding has been almost exclusively Liberal since its inception in 1979. PC Robert Pennock was the riding’s one non-Liberal MP, serving a single term from 1984-88.

Polls also indicated the riding was leaning heavily toward the Grits.

Duncan  will move on to her third term in the riding, having first been elected in 2008.
