WINNIPEG — As runners get ready to lace up for the annual Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service Half Marathon, drivers should get ready to be hit with traffic delays.

The annual run gets underway early Sunday morning and there are a few notable road closures Winnipeggers should be aware of.

Between 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., the following roads will be closed:

• Roblin Boulevard westbound between the Assiniboine Park Zoo entrance and Chalfont Road.

• Roblin Boulevard eastbound between Chalfont Road and Shaftesbury Boulevard.

The city said drivers should allow for additional time during their commutes.
