For those living in two of the best areas to see the most vibrant colours of fall, it’s peaked.
New satellite imagery from space shows those fall colours across Ontario, Quebec as well as in the United States in northern Michigan, Wisconsin and New England.

The image of the colours across the Great Lakes region was taken on Oct. 11 using NASA’s Aqua satellite. The image in Ontario and Quebec was taken on Oct. 12.
Two of the most colourful provinces are both Quebec and Ontario due to the prevalence of maple trees. Some years the colours are more vibrant than others. So far this year, it looks like in Ontario, the colours are more vibrant than it was in 2014.
