Arctic air returns to southern Ontario

 TORONTO – Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement as arctic air returns to southern Ontario.

Precipitation from a disturbance approaching from the northern U.S., mixed with the cold air could bring some freezing rain from Collingwood through Orangeville and into Aurora, Environment Canada says.

Further north towards the Ottawa Valley and Algonquin Park, snow and ice pellets along with some freezing rain is expected tonight and into Wednesday morning.
