SASKATOON – Conservative Leader Stephen Harper was campaigning in Saskatoon Tuesday and Wednesday where the party hopes to retain its seats in several close races. He made a new campaign promise on Wednesday to extend parental leave benefits if the Tories are re-elected.
He took time out of his schedule to sit down with Global Saskatoon’s Leena Latafat to discuss missing and murdered aboriginal women, the Trans-Pacific Partnership and the economy in general.

Earlier in the campaign, NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair sat down with Global’s Lisa Dutton for a one-on-one interview, which can be watched below.
Global Saskatoon also reached out to Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau for an interview when he was campaigning in the city, but the request was declined.
