MONTREAL – Students at four West Island high schools walked out on their classes Wednesday morning in support of teacher protests.

John Rennie, Riverdale, Lindsay Place and Saint-Thomas high schools all participated.

The students protested during the first two periods of the day to support their teachers in the ongoing contract negotiations with the government.
