SASKATOON – Three teens are facing charges after they allegedly tried to evade Saskatoon police in a stolen vehicle Monday evening. A fourth teen is also expected to be charged in the theft.
It began around 4 p.m. CT when a vehicle was stolen from a residence on Avenue N South.
Patrol officers spotted the vehicle just over seven hours later in the 800-block of Spadina Crescent. The driver refused to stop and tried to evade officers, but ended up hitting a parked car and then a tree on Wellington Street.
Four people then fled on foot.
Officers quickly caught two of the suspects and a third later turned himself in.

The driver of the stolen vehicle, a 14-year-old boy, is facing charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, evading police, possession of stolen property over $5,000 and two counts of breach of an undertaking.
Two teens, a 12-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl, are facing charges of possession of stolen property over $5,000.
A fourth teen has been identified and is facing a charge of possession of stolen property.
