Riders acquire Regina native Aaron Picton from Stamps

REGINA – The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced Tuesday they have acquired the rights to Canadian offensive lineman Aaron Picton from Calgary.

In exchange for Picton, the Riders sent offensive lineman Randy Richards to the Stampeders.

Picton is currently in his fifth year with the University of Regina Rams, and the Regina native has spent the last two seasons as the Rams starting centre.

Picton was selected in the sixth round of the 2015 CFL draft.
