SASKATOON – Connor McDavid had an assist and often looked dangerous as the Edmonton Oilers downed the Minnesota Wild 3-0 in NHL exhibition action on Saturday at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon. The 18-year-old centre played in his second pre-season outing and he has three assists in those appearances.

The first overall pick in June’s NHL Entry Draft made a number of impressive passing plays and had a couple of breakaways.
