Tech giant Google announced Friday it has reached its goal of matching user donations to support humanitarian efforts in the ongoing refugee and migrant crisis.
Just three days after announcing the fundraising effort, Google announced on Twitter that through matching the donations of people around the world, €10 million had been raised for relief efforts.
Though Google’s donation-matching program has ended, the company was encouraging users to continue to donate directly to non-profit organizations, Doctors Without Borders, the International Rescue Committee,Save the Children and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
