How to take a yogurt cup off a skunk’s head without getting sprayed

Police officers in Arizona managed to rescue a hungry skunk with its head stuck in a yogurt cup recently without getting sprayed.

Viral footage, posted late Wednesday on the Flagstaff Police Department’s Facebook page, shows a pair of officers try to corner the black-and-white mammal with a blanket before covering it up.

Once the skunk was underneath, an officer was able to gently remove what they claim was a yogurt cup before removing the blanket and releasing it.

“You’re welcome, little dude!” one officer could be heard saying.

The video has been watched on Facebook over 100,000 times since Wednesday evening.

Although it’s unclear what brand the cup belonged to, a Change.org petition asking Yoplait to redesign their containers to protect wildlife had been signed by nearly 128,000 supporters at this writing.
