UPDATE: The search for a missing Kelowna woman has been called off Thursday afternoon.
As a result of a private search organized by friends and family, Megan Doyle’s body and vehicle were located.
RCMP are releasing few details but do not believe there were any criminal activities.

KELOWNA–Search and rescue officials have called off the search for a missing 31-year-old Kelowna woman until at least the weekend.
Megan Doyle left her home on Friday and has not been heard from since.
Friends and family are now organizing a volunteer search for Doyle, focusing on the McCullough Lake area.
They’re asking for volunteers who would like to help in the search to meet at the Big White turnoff at 8 a.m. Thursday morning.
If the search is unsuccessful, they will try again on Friday.
