Police from Richelieu-Saint-Laurent and firefighters from Saint-Hilaire were called around 9:30 p.m. after the two men, both from Drummondville, failed to show up at the base camp.

The hikers, both in their early 20s, were brought out of the woods unharmed around 4 a.m. Wednesday morning.
