Kevin Rubletz, accused of the second degree murder of Calgary mother Jessica Newman, has been denied bail.
The courtroom was packed Monday for the decision.

Evidence heard in the bail hearing cannot be reported because of a court-ordered publication ban.
Rubletz will remain in custody.
