Race’s lawyer Joel Pink told Halifax provincial court today that Race will proceed to a full trial.

The case has been adjourned until April 5.

Race was extradited from the United States in October 2010 to face the charges.

At the time of his extradition, he was serving a life sentence for the 2007 shooting death of Darcy Manor in Upstate New York.

Race has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia.
