Parkland Ambulance called to 3 people struck by vehicle

Parkland Ambulance says it responded after three people were struck by a vehicle on a Saskatchewan reserve Saturday. At 3:30 a.m., paramedics were called to the Sturgeon Lake First Nation.

Three men, aged 24, 20 and 21, were treated at the scene and then taken to Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, Sask. for further care.

Two of the patients have since been transferred to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon in serious but stable condition.

The 21-year-old man has been released from Victoria Hospital.

Sturgeon Lake First Nation is approximately 145 kilometres north of Saskatoon.
