Man injured in workplace accident in Montreal quarry

MONTREAL – A man in his 40s was injured in a workplace accident Saturday morning in a quarry in St-Michel on 17th Avenue just north of Jarry Street.

Andre Leclerc,with Montreal Police told Global News that the man suffered injuries to his legs while working with a concrete mixer.

The man was transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The Commision de la santé et de sécurité du travail (CSST), Quebec’s workplace safety agency, is investigating.
