Teen girl dead in Saskatchewan ATV rollover

A 14-year-old girl is dead after an ATV rollover near Hudson Bay, Sask. Global News

It’s been a tragic long weekend for a Saskatchewan family. A 14-year-old girl has been killed after an ATV rollover.

Mounties were called to the Hudson Bay hospital around 9:15 p.m. Saturday where the girl had been pronounced dead. Her name has not been released.

She had been riding with her family on a public trail in the Northern Provincial Forest northwest of Hudson Bay when the ATV rolled.

Police say alcohol is not considered a factor. No other details have been released.

Hudson Bay is about 300 kilometres northeast of Saskatoon.
