ABOVE: Justin Trudeau believes labour movement will eventually back him, not Mulcair
OTTAWA – The political party leaders will all be busy this Labour Day.
The three major party leaders are spending the day in the vote rich Greater Toronto Area.
N-D-P leader Tom Mulcair will take in Toronto’s annual Labour Day Parade after speaking to members of Unifor — Canada’s largest private sector union.
Stephen Harper has campaign events in east Toronto and Mississauga.
Justin Trudeau will also campaign in Mississauga before flying to Summerside, P-E-I for an evening event.
Summerside is the federal Conservatives’ only foothold on P-E-I — the other three ridings in the province are controlled by the Liberals.
Bloc Quebecois leader Gilles Duceppe will attend a party event in Montreal today while Green Party leader Elizabeth May will campaign in her Vancouver Island riding.
