EDMONTON — Edmonton police are investigating a shooting at the Trinidad and Tobago Cultural Association which happened early Sunday morning.

Police were called at around 5 a.m. after reports of shots fired in the area of 167 Street and 113 Avenue.

Officers are still trying to piece together what happened, but said one person was shot and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The person’s identity is not known at this time.
