A Niagara Falls, Ont., man is facing a number of charges following a joint child exploitation investigation between police forces in Saskatchewan and Ontario. The investigation was first launched by members of the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit in February into the online extortion of a girl under the age of 16.

Police have not said where in Saskatchewan the girl resides.
They were able to determine the suspect was a resident of the Niagara region and in July, members of the Niagara Regional Police Service ICE Unit launched their investigation into a local man.

On Aug. 28, search warrants were executed at locations in Niagara Falls, St. Catharines and Fort Erie, Ont.
Police arrested Niagara Falls resident Kyle Jones, 23. He is facing extortion, child-luring, and child pornography charges.
