REGINA – The Saskatchewan Roughriders have announced that they have fired both head coach Corey Chamblin and general manager Brendan Taman.

The firings come one day after the team’s record moved to 0-9 after a 35-13 loss to the Ottawa Redblacks.

“We are not meeting our expectations or our standards on the field and these changes were necessary to move us forward,” stated Riders President & CEO Craig Reynolds.
