Surveillance photos released from armed robbery in Prince Albert

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – Police have released surveillance photos in hopes of identifying who’s responsible for an armed robbery in Prince Albert, Sask. The crime took place on July 16 in the 800-block of 5th Street East.

At around 8:36 p.m., a male suspect entered a business brandishing what was believed to a firearm. After stealing an undetermined amount of cash and cigarettes, the suspect fled in a southeastern direction.

No injuries were reported.

Clothing believed to be worn by the suspect during the robbery was found. Police are waiting for forensic analysis results but would also like the public’s help in the identifying the suspect.

He was wearing a grey bandana over his face, a black hooded sweater, black pants and black shoes that had white trim around the bottoms.

Investigators also observed a person of interest on surveillance video. This person, believed to be female, was wearing jeans and a black hoodie with white or yellow writing on the front.
