Artist made famous by ‘awful’ Tom Brady sketch unveils second attempt

WATCH ABOVE: Court sketch artist Jane Rosenberg says she does not feel better about today’s sketches because she was not able to get a good look at Tom Brady from her seat.

The sketch artist who apologized to Tom Brady for not making “him look pretty enough to the world” was back in court again Monday to once again sketch Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady.

Jane Rosenberg showed off her newest sketch to reporters outside a New York City courtroom Monday afternoon, a few hours after proceedings wrapped up.

The second sketch isn’t exactly a true-to-life representation of Brady but it’s less likely to cause the uproar her first sketch did.

Rosenberg has been a courtroom sketch artist for over 30 years and has sketched celebrities like Bernie Madoff, Sean Combs, and Al Sharpton. All have a similar, distinct style, but none were so universally panned as her first attempt at Brady.

It resulted in widespread mockery, and memeification. She eventually apologized for the sketch, saying she feels, “really bad when [she does] a bad sketch.”

“I try to capture somebody’s essence quickly, so it’s not going to be perfect,” Rosenberg said at the time.

“I apologize for not making him look pretty enough to the world…Tom Brady is a very good looking guy.”

Brady brought the NFL to court this summer after the NFL handed him a four-game suspension for his alleged involvement in the under-inflation of footballs in the AFC Championship game.
