WINNIPEG – Police have arrested one man and are still searching for another suspect after two robberies on a transit bus.

Two women had their cell phone’s stolen on separate buses in the morning on July 27.

The first woman was sitting in the bus at Mountain and Arlington when two men came up from behind her and took her phone at about 10:00 a.m.

An hour and a half after that, another woman was on a bus at Inkster Avenue and Arlington Street when a man snatched her phone out of her hands and ran away.

Both victims were not injured.

Winnipeg police identified both suspects, arresting and charging 23-year-old Kyle James Letandre from Winnipeg.
